DIY-The Fame Glasses Lady Gaga

Hey lovelies! I was very bored last night and decided to make some 'The Fame' glasses worn by Lady Gaga! I tried a few times to make them, and failed, so this time I decided to use paint (lightbulb!). I like the way they turned out, and I'm pleased that I made them instead of buying them online. If you want to make your own, grab an old cheap pair of sunglasses and some pant. If you really want to get creative, buy rhinestones, sequins or fish bowl stones and super glue them on. Have fun and enjoy them!

Back To School Do's and Dont's

Summer is coming to a tragic end and that means some us have to go back to school. I am entering my Sophomore year, and recently I have been nervous, but with a little piece of mind (and common sense), I came up with a lot of reasons why you should be confident and make the best of the school year! Here's a list of the do's and dont's.

Back to School Do's:
-Do be positive, even if your nervous, being posative, can make everyone else positive too!
-Do listen to your teachers, trust me, your graders matter more than you think!
-Do make the year the greatest it can be.
-Do go to football games and dances, those memories will last forever.

Back to School Dont's:
-Don't be afraid to talk to the new kid or invite them to lunch. (That's how I met my best friend)
-Don't be embarrassed to ask a teacher a question if you're lost in the lesson.
-Don't hesitate to try out for the play or football team.
-Don't stress out too much about studying.

Have fun and enjoy the school year! I recently learned from a lot of family members that these years will go by fast, and that you should make the best of the. Now coming from me, not my parents and aunts, those 4 years won't make you who you are, don't stand for the labels and names, be yourself and enjoy your friends and memories that you make.

Who Wore It Better? Edition 2

Okay I am torn between them both! A little black dress is classic and anyone can rock it. Brittney Snow keeps it classic and sweet with loose hair and ballet flats, while Annalynne McCord plays up the dress with peep toe booties and a retro hair do. While both look great, I prefer Annalynne's retro flare to it, it adds more to the look and makes look like a classic Marilyn meets Hollywood Glam movie vibe. What do you think?

Hot Trend; Dip-Dye

Dip-dye is like a major must have accessory right now! After several models and celebrities donned dip-dye hair,  the trend starting spreading like wild fire! We can see why. From radiant colors to multiple dip-dye layers, this trend is sure to make a statement. I can see why everyone is crazy about it!

Even celebrities love it!

Shopping Do's and Dont's

Shopping; everyone loves it. Fashion creates a look that's all you. How you look, act, think, feel. Its a way of expression and creativity. Fashion is a reflection of who you are, it should be nothing less! However, there are points were people feel not bold enough, too shy, to extravagant (with the exception of McQueen), and others are afraid of what the outcome could be when people see their looks. In the world that we live in society is harsh and people are cruel. They tell you how you should be. I say don't listen to them! You, no matter who or what tells you, need to be be strong and independent to your opinion, so next time you go shopping, follow these tips!

Shopping Do's:
-Do find clothes that fit your personality.
-Do wear sizes that make you feel comfortable AND beautiful.
-Do try things you don't think would be ''you''.
-Do be considerate to other's opinions on what looks good together and what doesn't.

Shopping Don't's:
-Don't be afraid to try new styles and fashions.
-Don't feel embarrassed about your body.
-Don't down your body, down the sizes you choose! (Size doesn't matter)
-Don't stray from new clothing stores.

Who Wore it Better? Edition 1

Nelly Furtado vs. Lea Michele

This is my first edition of Who wore it Better. I have chosen this Herve Leger dress because its edgy and suits my persona. I'm a huge fan of the designer's clothes. Personally in my opinion Lea Michele has worn the dress better than Nelly. Lea's dress stands on its own, like it should, the dress is bold and independant, meaning nothing else should distract from the edge of it. The dress hugs her curves and she looks fabulous, her edgy hair reflects the dress with her shaggy bangs, while Nelly's tights and stiff position distract from the dress. The dress looks big on her and she seems to be uncomfortable in it. Who do you think wore it better?
